Q: Sessions:
A: We offer 1/2 and 1 hour lessons. If you inquire about 1 hour lessons we will do if an adult or advanced child 14 and on. Teachers can get quit a bit of information in an 1/2 hour. This is the norm.
Q: Tuition:
A: (4)1/2 hour: $100.00 per month.
(4)1 hour: $200.00 per month.
Tuition is paid on a monthly basis by the first of each month.
Q: How do I Register?
A: You can fill out the questionnaire online (under construction) or call the office.
We offer a trial lesson for $25.00, which gives you a chance to come in and meet the teacher before committing to the month.
Q: Do you offer weekend/evening classes?
A: Yes
Q: What styles of music do you teach?
A. We teach all common styles of music; Rock, Jazz, Classical, Country, Blues, Gospel, Soul, Funk etc.
Q. Do you teach adults?
A. Yes.
Q. Do you teach students to read music, and music theory?
A. Yes.
Q. What is the youngest age of child you accept as a student?
A. Age 4 is usually about the soonest that one can reasonably expect to benefit from lessons.
Q. Do you offer make-ups for missed classes?
A. Yes, we have a very good system.
Q. How much are lessons?
A. Please see our website under "Tuition and Subscriptions" for details. We are not the "cheapest", nor are we the most expensive. We do guarantee our lessons to be well organized and thoughtful. If you spend a year with a crummy teacher for $85.00 a month, or a great teacher for $130.00 per month, which is a better value?
Q. Are your teachers good?
A. YES!, All teachers are full time pros. ABC strives to maintain a very high standard of professionalism, Our teachers are among the finest musicians in our city. They are all great players who truly enjoy teaching. They are reliable, friendly, honest, hard working folks. Unlike some other schools, kids do not teach our classes. Everyone teaching here has extensive real world experience making a living as a musician.
